After weeks of hard work the new album was finally finished last thurssday and we now have the master cds in our hands. 9 tracks (36 minutes) of unrelenting bastardized black thrashing hell-metal in the proud Horned Almighty tradition.
The cover artwork is also in the final stages of completion and supplements the primal and ugly audio very well! Now, there is only waiting left until the album will be puked out through your loudspekears … it will be worth the wait!!!
In the meantime a few live gigs will be executed in the same disgusting manner as always, first up: Metal Magic Festival III in Fredericia (Denmark) on July 9th with Strychnos, The Cleansing, Undergang and many more…

Yesterday, the very last recording session for the new album NECRO SPIRITUALS was completed. And already tomorrow the tracks will be shipped to Jacob Bredahl for some seriously necrotic audial treatment (mixing and mastering) and the final master should be ready by the end of next week.

All drums, guitars and bass for NECRO SPIRITUALS has been recorded during the last weeks and thus we started tracking vocals yesterday. 3 songs down … 6 to go!!! Absolutely insane growling and howling performance by S … tracklisting and so on will soon be revealed!!! This wilderbeast of an album is slowly taking shape and the more of the puzzle that comes together, the more diabolical and perverted it will probably turn out!!!
Unfortunately Koldborn has cancelled their appearance on this years Royal Metal Fest due to illness.
Horned Almighty has stepped in and will share the stage with Entombed, Sodom and many more tonight. A night of blackened metal indeed.
Horned Almighty will also use this occasion to debut some new material from the upcoming album Necro Spirituals so be there if you are close by!!!

Even though it has been more than a year since the release of Contaminating the Divine, reviews of the album are still surfacing from time to time. Most recently in the brand new edition of the cult magazine Nordic Vision:
“3 years have passed since “The Devil´s Music” was released, and these Danish gentlemen have used this time well to create yet another album that is covered in a dirty atmosphere combined with catchy and entertaining groove. The vocals are harsh and rude, underlining the message in the lyrics to its full extent. Horned Almighty have a nearly genuine ability to enrich their songs with a groove that turns out to be seriously catchy. A good example is the title track, heavy with a structure that makes Rock `n` Roll a phrase to remember. It is with great pride we announce that we have signed a deal with the almighty Candlelight Records. Having released seminal albums by Emperor, Havohej and many others and having been one of the forerunners on the underground metal scene for so many years, Candlelight Records is the perfect home for Horned Almighty and our filthy brand of Blackened Metal.
We will enter the studio in April to puke our fourth album entitled “Necro Spirituals” onto tape. The effort will yet again be mixed and mastered by Jacob Bredahl who did a phenomenal job on our last album.
No release date has been set yet, but check the Candleligt Records website for updates.

Since the last diabolical summoning on this page, quite a lot has been going on. Horned Almighty has been reduced to a quartet with Luger moving to new shores and therefore Hellpig has taken over the bass duties on a permanent basis, or until a suitable replacement has been found. But for now work is being done as the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
The songwriting for the next album is well underway as well and we are exploring some new takes on our, otherwise ultra conservative, take on the Devil’s music and exploring new possibilities.
We are currently halfway through the creative phase with 5 songs finished and a few others in the making.
